Why Cardiff?
Cardiff is simply the place to be! The redevelopment and regeneration that is taking place throughout the City, and especially along the waterfront has to be seen to be believed.

Cardiff Bay is the most exciting waterfront development in Europe. With the completion of the barrage at the mouth of the rivers Taff and Ely, a 500-acre freshwater bay has been created, along with eight miles of prime waterfront.

This is being developed with exceptional attention to detail. Mermaid Quay has an attractive collection of plazas, cafes, restaurants and shops connected by boardwalks with stunning views across the bay. This area is also the home of the National Assembly for Wales, which moves into an elegant purpose-built building in 2001. It is also where you will find The Tube and the Spirit of Cardiff visitor centre.

In a recent report, the Henley Centre for Forecasting stated that 'Cardiff's prospects are among the best for all UK cities to the Year 2000'. Cardiff attracts a large percentage of inward investment into the UK, and is forecast to be one of the prime locations for business expansion well into the 21st Century. There is a willingness in Cardiff to embrace new technology and innovation that made it very attractive to the Spirit team.

Cardiff has a lot to offer, and we know that we can make a difference to the way that the world looks at Cardiff.
