Thanks Josh!

After his Mum and Dad visited the Spirit of Cardiff project a couple of months ago, ten year old Josh Hall decided to adopted us! He was so enthusiastic about our plans that he organised his own fund raising events -- a sponsored bike ride and run raised a very welcome £45. This was a complete surprise to us, and we were very touched that someone we hadn't even met would go to such lengths to help out.

Josh has completed an "own choice topic" project on the Spirit of Cardiff as part of his school work, and has even presented a talk to his class all about us.

As a special thank you for all his work, Josh was invited to the Spirit of Cardiff visitor centre to receive a special certificate of thanks from Alan Priddy. This was followed by a ride in Spirit of Cardiff, which had the job of delivering Father Christmas to the lightship moored next to the visitor centre.

Josh's Mum, Diane, wrote later to say "a massive big thankyou for giving Josh the time of his life on Saturday, I'm sure it was a day he'll never forget. He has given a talk in class today on his trip, which took a whole hour. He showed the video and all his goodies, his teacher and the class were mightily impressed!"

Thanks Josh!
